3/4cupraw unsalted sunflower seedssoaked in water for 2 hours, drained and rinsed
1/4cuplow-sodium canned great northern beans or 1/4 cup cooked great northern beansdrained and rinsed
1/2cupplus 2 tablespoons water
Juice of 1 lemon
2teaspoonsapple cider vinegar
1 1/2teaspoonsgarlic powder
1teaspoononion powder
3/4teaspoonsea salt
1tablespoonminced dried onion
1teaspoondried parsley
1/4teaspoonground black pepper
Instructions
Blend the Base: Start by adding the soaked sunflower seeds, drained beans, water, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and sea salt to a blender. Begin blending on low speed and gradually increase to high, stopping to scrape down the sides of the blender as needed. Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy, with a thick consistency.
