Immunity Broth

When you're feeling under the weather or simply looking to boost your immune system, a warm cup of Immunity Broth can be just what you need. Packed with potent ingredients like garlic, ginger, turmeric, and lemon, this broth is loaded with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties.

Ingredients
  

  • 15 garlic cloves
  • 1-2 tablespoons peeled and chopped fresh ginger
  • 1 tablespoon peeled and chopped fresh turmeric
  • 4 ½ cups vegatable or vegan chicken broth
  • 1 ½ tablespoons white miso
  • Juice of 2 lemons
  • Cayenne pepper optional

Instructions
 

  • Add the garlic, ginger, turmeric, and broth to a pot with a lid. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer and cover leaving a crack for steam to escape. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Using a slotted spoon transfer the garlic, ginger, and turmeric to a blender. Add at least one cup of the broth to the blender with the miso paste, blend until smooth, transfer back to the pot. Add lemon juice, stir to combine.
  • Serve in a mug sprinkled with cayenne pepper, if desired.
